WCU Fine Arts Collective

The WCU Fine Arts Collective will be holding it’s first meeting on Monday, September 14th at 7PM in the Painting Studio (room 168) in the E.O. Bull Center for the Arts.  We will be sharing ideas, goals, and projects for the Collective.

The Fine Arts Collective is a brand new club with the goal of creating an inspiring sense of community for the creative students of WCU. It will also be an excellent way to further education outside of the classroom and to prepare for post-collegiate life and careers in the arts!

We will be focused on both events happening here at the school, such as open figure drawing sessions, movie nights, and the publication of a “zine”, and the creation of off campus events, exhibitions and displays.

The Fine Arts Collective is open to all students campus wide and can also be a fantastic way for creative students who are not in studio art classes to get involved.

Our first meeting is 7PM on Monday 9/14 in the painting classroom at room 168 in EO Bull.  Meetings will occur every two weeks.

If you have any questions before our first meeting feel free to contact Professor Kris Benedict at kbenedict@wcupa.edu or the Fine Arts Collective Student President, Cate Stutenroth at CS837117@wcupa.edu.

We are looking forward to seeing you there!
